This is an example of a mosaic image created with the GELLER program dPict. In this case, a Backscattered Electron image of a polished meteorite fragment is shown, but any imaging signal (BSE, SEI, X-ray) can be used. The image was created by ‘stitching’ together 49 tiles (7 horizontal, 7 vertical) each acquired at a 40x magnification. The resulting image has a magnification of 5.7x. A single 40x raster is show.
